We are currently hiring for a Revenue Assurance Specialist

NEF is a professional services firm specializing in IT infrastructure, specifically focused on cloud, colocation and network design.  Providing consulting and brokerage services within the telecommunications industry, NEF is a dynamic and rapidly growing company.

NEF is currently hiring for a revenue assurance specialist to help bring our business to the next level.  We are looking for an upbeat, energetic person that brings a “can do” problem solving attitude to the table.  While a telecom background is not required, the right individual should be eager to learn and ask questions.  The ideal candidate will have customer service experience and be able to politely and effectively communicate with a variety of customers, business partners, and vendors.

This position will report to the Vice President of Sales, and will have an integral role supporting sales and accounting.  This is a full-time job and candidates must be able to work on-site at our Newton, Massachusetts headquarters.

Duties will include:

  • Entering new orders
  • Tracking existing orders
  • Revenue recognition
  • Coordinating service delivery and ensuring service is implemented correctly and on-schedule
  • Reporting
  • Vendor outreach

Required skills:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel experience is essential
  • High level of organization
  • Close attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency and enthusiasm
  • Good communication skills, both over the phone and in writing
  • The ability to solve problems
  • The ability to multi-task and to juggle competing priorities

Preferred background:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Salesforce proficiency
  • Customer service experience
